In the spirit of the holiday baking (and to torture myself, since I'm on a diet), what are your favorite Christmas treats? Do you have recipes for them?
Good question! Mom always used to make Raspberry Thumbprint cookies, which were a sort of butter cookie with raspberry preserves in a little thumb-print hollow in the middle. YUM. There was also another kind that was rolled in walnuts and had half of one of those 'not found in nature' cherries used in holiday baking. They were very festive looking. I know there are more.... Bec made a whole bunch of cookie recipes from the Martha Stewart cookbook a couple of years back.
